SEVERE NAUSEA

Hello:

Did anyone here have severe nausea lasting all day, and leaving only during sleep?

I am desperate to figure out how to relive it and how long can it possibly last (((

I thought I was doing really good, slowly decreasing Lorazepam by 0.0625 every 4 weeks, it was smooth sailing. Shortly before the last decrease, nausea started showing up occasionally, and no just settled in.

Other GI symptoms are there too, but not too bad.

This is an awful symptom, and rather common.

I had some GI issues near the beginning of my taper.  Remeron (mirtazapine) helped relieve those.  From pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov is the following:

    "The antagonism of 5-HT3 receptor by mirtazapine results in an antiemetic effect, suggesting that mirtazapine could be considered a successful antiemetic agent in patients suffering from severe nausea and vomiting."
