[Mi...]
Hello benzo buddies, I've started to substitute from Xanax to Diazepam. For context, I'm on .25 mg of Xanax 3 times a day. My dosage times are 4am (because of insomnia waking me up at 2:30am), 10am, and 4pm. I'm feeling terrible with my current treatment but also extremely anxious about removing the Xanax that gives temporary relief. I've started taking an additional 2.5 mg of Diazepam at night to ease into using the new medication and attempt to help with the insomnia. When I wake up in the morning I feel more groggy. Does diazepam make people groggy? I'm extremely concerned of feeling groggy the entire day. I just don't think I can handle that. Also, how do people cope with the grogginess? Much thanks, Millet
[Pa...]
I've heard members complain about sedation and depression when crossing over to Valium, these symptoms will typically fade if you stick with it. Some can't make the crossover and end up going on their old benzo. You might want to talk to the folks in the Valium Support Group, they have first hand experience.
