Benadryl for W/D palps / tachycardia

Hello,

Somewhere I read if you get palpitations from W/D that this helps.

Has anyone heard of this ? 

If not , what do you use or do you have a natural way to combat these.

Are you talking about the antihistamine Diphenhydramine?

I've not heard it used for tachycardia or palpitations. If you are in the UK you can go to pharmacy2u and fill in a quick form for propranolol a beta blocker which slows your heart rate and has a small effect on your blood pressure. I have a prescription for it and take it as needed even though it says one pill three times per day. It's recommended by the Ashton manual.

I didn't manage it, it was managed for me, inpatient psych ward at Johns Hopkins, with psych and med support. I couldn't do it on my own and I was drowning in major depressive disorder. But many members here have gotten off on their own with careful tapers.
