[Be...]
Yesterday was the first day of Clonz tapering. I was ok for the most part but a little edgy. So I finally took a vistrail that helped sosososos much. I hope the anxiousness goes away eventually. I am dealing with increasing my Zoloft and withdrawing foom this. Ugh. Thank God for my Vistrail and Zoloft. Does the side effects go away. From what I remember Zolofts do. Does anyone find that they are still really anxious once they have comletely tapered? Anyone on Vistrail or on Zoloft? Thanks. Bethers

I took Zoloft for 8 weeks and could not get past the trembling in the mornings so tapered off that first before benzos. Everyone is different when it comes to these meds. I have no anxiety anymore since tapering. I may have a few anxious mornings but more likely from thyroid or menopause. I never took Vistiral, you might want to do a forum search or google it. If you would, we would appreciate it if you could try to keep all your posts together in one thread so everyone can see your benzo journey in one place. You can change the title of each post if you want. Also, please add a signature line to your profile to make it easier to see where you are currently when it comes to your taper. Here are the directions..... http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=9432.msg119713#msg119713 I would like to move this post over to the General Withdrawal Support board if that's okay? Thanks!! T2

[Pa...]
Hi Bethers, I don't have any experience with the two medications you're taking, but I wanted to stop by and say yes, tapering Clonozepam sucks! Pam
[la...]
Hey Bethers, I'm on 50mg of Zoloft daily. The only time I had any symptoms at all on the Zoloft was when my dose was too high. My dr originally wanted me to go up to 100mg daily. The first day I went to 75mg I had symptoms, so the next day I went back to 50mg and stayed there. I'll probably taper that later this year. I've never stayed on an AD that had any symptoms other than nausea. Nausea is normal when first starting an antidepressant, and that had to be tolerated. Any other symptoms and I ditched the medicine, and tried a different one or lowered the dose until the symptoms stopped. Hopefully none of your symptoms are Zoloft related and it works well for you. I really recommend developing some strategies for calming yourself without other drugs. There are several threads on the Anxiety and Panic board with suggestions. Hope you will check them out. http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=13001.msg180729#msg180729 http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=13416.msg187863#msg187863 http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=13137.0 And this on the Insomnia board about the body scan meditation: http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=7469.msg83171#msg83171
