Help

I am wondering if any one has had bad sideeffects on atenolol I only take 1/4 off a pill four times a day equal to 12.5 mg I can't sleep I can feel my heart rate. I was on it for tachycardia on this low of a dos could I just stop it? It's giving me sooo many more issues. Dizzy, major anxiety, digestion problems, hbp 58. It's worse than wthdrawl. Anyone??? I just figured this out.

Hi, as you may already know I'm on atenolol for hypertension, my dose is far, far higher than yours.  I've never had any problems with it though.  If it's bothering you this much, I would think you could taper off it fairly quickly.  It probably would be best to discuss it with your doctor first, though.
