[Re...]
Can this even be done smoothly on a benzo with a short half-life or is it going to be a rough road? I can't get diazepam or any other benzo with a longer half-life. If you have done this I'd appreciate your comments. Thanks
[De...]
Hi there, Maybe you'd like to have a word with the folks on The Xanax support blog, I'm sure that they'd be able to answer this question. Here is a link to it : http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=96799.msg1240277#msg1240277 Debbie
[Ju...]
Yes, the Xanax Support Thread folks can give you information about how they are tapering or tapered. I did a 9-month direct dry cut taper from 3mg of Xanax to zero and it was doable. A link to my detailed taper schedule is in my signature, if you'd like to take a look. I did not wish to cross over to another benzo and I'm so glad I didn't. Tapering in general, is a "rough road" for most of us no matter which benzo we taper. Valium is no an exception. [be...]
Sounds like you have some good advice. Question is, why can't you use Valium or a longer acting benzo? Just curious.
