Seizures

Has anyone developed seizures or lost time and you have bitten your tounge.  My friend was on multiple benzos at different times for 25+ years.  They had developed seizures about 3-4 months after a short ween off the benzos among other things.  It's know they are not epileptic seizures.  Wondering if others are having these issues now being off the benzos.  Thank you. 

I was given depakote to prevent seizures. Sounds like your friend is having those little ones. I forgot what they're called. I had some lost tine followed by severe confusion and weakness but that's it for now.

surprisingly i have not had a seizure this c/t. i did back in 1994. but didn't remember having one. this time around i should have for sure and i do experience 'lost time' and i have bitten my tongue a few times when i feel my brain "sneeze" so i was wondering if that is kinda like a seizure when i am awake. it's definitely 'lights out' for the milla-second.

 

i've spoken about this on another thread and i got scared because they wanted me to see a specialist for the "brain sneeze's" and i won't because i've already been to 5 Neurologists and they just can't help me. i am about 19 months out and 15 months away from my last 'rescue benzo'. and haven't had a full on seizure, so i am hoping that i won't develop them a long the way.
