[fl...]
My vision has always been perfect. 20 20. I just had an exam for dot and still 20 20. I have just noticed these black floating lines in my vision. Could this be wd symptom? Will it go away?
[fr...]
Perhaps, but I'd get it checked out. Easy exam, and usually nothing (I've had them) but sometimes could be forewarning a retinal tear (likely not-but def go in if you notice a "shuttering" effect like a shade is coming down). I have had a retinal tear once-fixed up in 10 minutes at the opt's office, but not something to fool with. Good luck!
[be...]
i also have huge black floaters yet eye docs say my vitreous (eyeball fluid) is crystal clear. i think this is part of the hyperexcitability thing or "loss" of a certain filter. from what ive read big floaters that cant be seen by the doctor are very close to the retina.. and they are the least likely for you ti ever learn to "ignore" do you notice other visual phenomena? is the blue sky filled with white sprites? light sensitivity? [ga...]
I have a large floater in my left eye field of vision. Came out of no where one day. I am in my late 50's and it is fairly common to experience this as the vitrious hardens as we age. I was told by the retinal specialist to watch for flashing lights in my field of vision and increasing floaters which could be a sign of retinal detachment. If you get to the doctor quickly they can prevent it from causing more vision problems. Quite annoying but you learn to live with them and do your best to ignore. Not related to Benzos. [No...]
I think it is benzo wd related, just google benzo withdrawal eye floaters. Sandra.
[ga...]
I think it is random floaters that may be related. What I experienced is age related...at least according to the specialist.
[Fr...]
im 22 and after a cold turkey from ativan after short use my eyes have exploaded with eye floats its unbelieveable each eye has probly 30 or more in each one, if you squint and stare at a bright light you will see tons of them. I would almost compare it to being able to see what the inside of your eye is made up of. i also have the white things shooting around when i look up at the blue sky, tracers, starbursts around lights and also halo effects on the tv and other bright lights. so disturbign and annoying and have been to multiple eye doctors. all say perfectly healthy eyes. [dr...]
Definitely WD related. Almost 10 months out and I have still have floaters in my left eye. They have gotten slightly smaller since I first jumped benzos. Hopefully they will fully subside soon.

[fr...]
I think stress may somehow cause floaters. Way back when I was in college, I was experiencing a period of anxiety, and one day I suddenly noticed this big black dot in the vision of my right eye. I had never taken any benzos or other psychiatric medicines at that time. I was so concerned I immediately got an eye exam. I was told it was a harmless floater. As I recall, it gradually went away over a period of about a year.

[pr...]
i still have 3 black floaters out of my left eye. if you google benzo withdrawal symptoms and get a good link with all the withdrawal symptoms, black eye floaters are on there. at least they're on the list that i have right by my side.
