Doctor prescribed 1/2 of a 25mg dose of Toprol XL today for the rapid heartbeat/palps I'm having.  Supposed to take it for a month and taper down.  Unfortunately read about some terrible side effects AND withdrawal from this, and a little scared to take it now (yeah, stupid me).  I just can't go through more bad things because of a drug.

 

Anyone use this?  I'd love some input and/or experiences.
