Pepto Bismol For Benzo Belly

I've read some of the other Pepto Bismol related threads but was just curious if Pepto helps benzo belly while the individual is on Ativan, Zoloft and Clonidine.

I would just say not to take it within a couple of hours of when you dose with your other meds, due to absorption.

For the first time in my Ativan taper, I reached out and took some pepto bismol due to a severely bad stomach ache from overeating at dinner (not from benzos).  I took the pepto just 2 hours before my (before bed) Ativan dose and noticed no ill effect of the pepto on my response to Ativan. Either in the 2 hours after dosing ativan, dueing my sleep, or now this morning.

 

your doctor can order a mixture at the pharmacy called "gastric Cocktail"  its great for benzo belly plus helps you sleep.. its a mixture or cherry maalox, liquid benadryl and liquid viscous lidocaine... its a wonder drug for benzo belly !!!
