Booze, hooch, devils milk

With short acting benzos like xanax I would go through daily withdrawals almost 20 hours after my last dose.  Does alcohol have a similar duration of action? I know you aren't still drunk that ling but does it still bind to gaba receptors for a similar time?? I ask because I have had less than a glass of wine the past few nights and I have noticed bouts of increased dizziness in the afternoons the day after.  Hard to believe it could be tied to it but nothing surprises me anymore.

i don't know if alcohol has similar duration as xanax but i do know that it sure does bind to that receptor.

 

i don't doubt that it could make you feel like that.
