[da...]
I have been without any benzos for 28 days following a 9 day stay in hospital. However, I have been suffering horrible w/d symptoms oand was intending to reinstate today. I have a colonoscopy procedure next Thursday which I am not looking forward to. Also sedation is recommended for this using midazalom also a benzo. Anyone have any thoughts please as I'm in a bit of a quandary. Thanks.
[os...]
I do not mean to criticize but i see this so many times, someone gets free of benzo's and they need some sort of sedation due to a medical procedure. Can the colonoscopy not wait? People have them without drugs too believe it or not. I should know, my ex had enough of these. This is a nonsense, no drugs are needed apart from the one to clear out your insides. Hang in there.
[da...]
Thanks for reply and appreciate your observations. No the procedure cannot wait as there is perception that something more sinist er is occurring . Given the intolerable withdrawal symptoms there is no way I can attend in my current fragile state. I repeat this procedure must proceed as planned. This is non negotiable. Therefore I will undertake controlled taper under supervision of my doctor once results from procedure are available . He is an excellent doctor well versed in benzos withdrawal issues. Cheers D
