did i screw up?

I had a massive panic attack last night and I took a .5 xanax that my friend gave me because i was not home!  I would never take anything extra if i could just handle it...it was one of the worst i have ever had!  i have been taking .125 klonopin once everynight now in my taper!  I was wondering if this will screw things up with my taper?

No, robert, you will be fine.  A single dose lilke that won't affect your taper.  In the same circumstances, I would have done the same thing.  Hope you are otherwise doing well.  Based on how little klonopin you are taking, you obviously are doing very well with your taper.  Good job. 

Hi Robert,  no, as beeper says a one off extra dose like that will not harm your taper at all.  I did it twice I think and was still able to finish  my taper as planned.  It only becomes a problem if it starts to become a regular occurance.  You will be fine.
