How long does benzo belly last?

For those of you unfamilar with benzo belly...the stomach gets bloated and extends outwards like you have a BIG, rock hard gut. Pants don't fit anymore & shirts become super tight. 

 

Been 4 months since my last clonazepam & now have benzo belly.

Does this come towards the end of withdrawal?

How long does this usually last?

 

Like all other symptoms.....it varies from person to person. For me, at over two years off, it still comes and goes.

It honestly depends upon the day.

It is not too bad in the morning...firm but by the evening it is greatly extended and hard as a rock. It does not cause any discomfort but it is not the sexist thing for my wife to be staring at.
