Meds that may help during withdrawal

My doc prescribed me propranolol during the worst of my withdrawal symptoms.It really helped with severe restlessness.It also helped some with shaking, sweating, and heart palpitations.I still take it some days when I'm having a rough time.

Also, my shrink gave me vistoril.It helps to calm me down some when needed, but definately isn't very strong.I believe it's actually just an antihistimine.

I also take melatonin most nights to aid in sleep.My doctor told me it is safe and actually helps with serotonin production which is low during withdrawals
