Hi i am a 46 yr old female i was put on xanax when my husband was killed

i took 1  0.5 a day at bedtime for almost 2 years i did not know how bad this was for me until last wed. i started reading about it at that time i cut back to 0.37 suffering headaches but doing ok. i went to the doctor today to get help tapering as i have read so many these past few days. he has me on one that i am kind of scared to do but if it works i will be thrilled i just never saw one like it

plz pray that this works for me i want off these bad i am all my children have.

Yep, xanax can be a nasty drug but you can get off it. There is hope!

Hi stellatj. I'm so very sorry about your husband. There is no doubt you can get off of this poision. You have 2 choices, 1 stay on them forever or 2 get off of them. The latter is really the only choice lol so that's what I have to tell myself when I have really bad days. Just have to keep chugging along I guess. Your not at a high dose so hopefully you wont have a really hard time.
