Orphenadrine

I am really worried. I finished taking klonopin seven months ago. Recently I developed painful lower back coming from muscle spasm. The doctor prescribed orphenadrine (norflex). It has really zonked me out. It calms down the central nervous system. It helps ease the pain. I tried to take less but pain was bad. I am really worried that this drug will interfere with GABA health, but I am afraid to stop it becoz of the pain.

Norflex is very safe & its sedating effects are due to acting on histamine receptors, like Benadryl, so it does not effect GABA receptors & should not interfere with healing at all. I'm glad it's giving you some relief.
