[ja...]
msnbc has started talking about the number of deaths from prescriptions drugs since the 1970s and the escalation of deaths recently. It may be of interest to all of you that they are going to tackle the addictive drugs soon. This broadcast was not even about the addictive drugs. "That area will be coming next," they said. Unfortunately, I am not aware of the time of the next broadcast. If any of you get wind of it please post this. I'm sure they will be addressing benzodiazepines as they were mentioned. I'll keep my eyes open too. I was trying hard to find where I could post them in an email and was wondering if anyone of you could give me some guidance in that direction. I would like to pursue this more ardently . So keep your eyes open and if you know where I could post an email let me know. Thank you very much. [da...]
I don't think MSNBC or any other station will ever air a program about Benzodiazepines. My wife even suggested I email Dr. Phil for help. It would never happen. These stations make much of their needed income from medication commercials. I’m most familiar with Pfizer because they are the makers of Xanax the medication that I am addicted to. Although I have never seen a Xanax commercial Pfizer makes many other medications that I have seen advertised quite often. Viagra, which is also made by Pfizer for instance, has a number of types of commercials and play them rather often. If any television network had a program about the current crisis of benzodiazephines the pharmaceutical companies would boycott that station costing them millions in revenue. Dr Phil and Oprah cover many issues but know where to draw the line. These syndicated shows could be dropped because the pharmaceutical companies could boycott the station that airs them. Pharmaceutical companies own the politicians through donations and the media through advertisement dollars. It’s wrong but how it works.
[Ja...]
How about "independent" stations such PBS? What ever happened to those commercials that gave you tips on how to handle stress without taking a medication? Count from 10-0 when you're angry or want to think before you talk...now everything is pill-related or has a solution by taking a pill. [ja...]
Believe it or not I saw a drug commercial on PBS too. They are everywhere. Janus
[si...]
msmbc seems to be straying from the confines of control.
