Just a quick thank you to this group.

2 mg Clonazapam daily for 4 years following the collapse of financial markets. (2007-2011)

July 2011 begin titration

May 2012 I'm at .25% of 1 mg of Clonazapam.  Soon to be at zero.

My experience this last year: my brother and sister ask me how the "chemistry" is going! I've had some headaches along the way. When they come up, I just stop the reduction. When my brain catches up, I continue the reduction. I've used Fioricet occasionally (about once a month) if the headache gets bad. I've had to be really careful about overheating in the sun ( I live in SW USA). Almost passed out twice. Just forgot about the interaction between Clonazapam and sun.

So, all is good. It's been much easier than I anticipated with relatively few side affects.

That's good to hear, Smartfun.  By the way, what connection is there between Klonopin and the Sun?

thanks for letting us know.  Like Challis said, it's always good to hear when a taper's going well.  I think it encourages other people to be patient and hang in there with their own slow tapers.
