[fa...]
Hi. I want to titrate off of xanax. I would like to do a 10% reduction. I do have a 100 ml cylinder with 1ml increments. I take one .25 and a half of .25 a day. Start day asap and I will be on same dose as stated above.
[fi...]
Hi faith, Here is a video on titration, if you haven't watched it yet: http://youtu.be/tQefn6JnP64 I am just starting titration myself, but they say to hold for a week or two when you switch to titration (since it is treated like a cut). What I am doing from there is dropping by 1 ml. every week or so. If my body can handle a faster taper, then I will do that. Perhaps some other titration buddies can jump in here and give you some tips as well. Sincerely, fg
[Ch...]
Hi faith, If you want to add a signature (history of use and taper) that shows under every post automatically so you don't have to keep typing it in your posts, click Profile, choose Forum Profile from the drop down menu, look for Signature, type in the text box and save changes by clicking Change Profile. This will help other members of the forum know where you are when they respond to your posts. Let us know if we can help you put in a signature. I tried titration but wasn't very good at it. Give it a try and if it's not working for you, since you have .25 pills we can help you dry cut. I think in your introduction you said you were having some rough withdrawal symptoms right now from your first cut. You may want to wait until those settle a bit before cutting again. I know you probably want to be done with Xanax as soon as possible, but slow and steady wins this race. Challis

[fa...]
should I switch to extended release?
[Ch...]
I'm going to reply to this to bump it for others, but if you don't get many responses you can start a new thread about 'Xanax XR' which might get you more info. Best of luck! Challis
[fa...]
Thank you! Who gives titration plan and did I post in right place to get one?
[Ch...]
You did, faith. But I don't know of anyone who has done this that is on the forum these days. I honestly think you'll get more help on the Xanax thread. There are people over there this morning. I'd post over there if I were you. Here's the link again: http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=43272.msg760336#msg760336 Just hit 'Reply' to post there. Charlie knows about titration, she mostly stays on the Xanax thread so hasn't seen your request for help with titration. Challis
[BY...]
Hi faith, You can look at this plan if you want. If you put your mouse cursor over this document and click, it should expand, it's in three parts, just click top, middle and bottom to see the full view. This is what your plan should look like. http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n553/MiniRocky/snap40.jpg http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n553/MiniRocky/snap41.jpg http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n553/MiniRocky/snap42.jpg
[pr...]
If you're going to liquid titrate do NOT use the extended release version. This goes for any medication. Once it's dissolved, the fillers and glues that cause it to be extended release are broken down in a way that is unpredictable and probably inconsistent and as far as I know has never been studied. For liquid titration use the regular version and take multiple doses to keep blood levels smooth. Also, rather than using one whole pill and one half pill, I'd recommend using two whole pills and then adjusting your measuring so you'll get the right dose. If you break a pill in half it's hard to be exact. Those are tiny pills and even a small variation from day too day can make a big difference. I think it would probably be more consistent if you use the full pill and then adjust how much of the solution you take. Of course if you have a shortage of pills for some reason, this won't work. Good luck to you!
