claritin

Hi buddies.

 

Anyone have any problems useing claritin?

Hi all. Claritin gives me rapid heartbeat and then anxiety. I don't take it.

I can,t take claritin either,even when I was on my klonopin I couldn,t tolerate it,I did at first then it went against me,if I took it now,I would be a real mess,klon made me sensitive to a lot of meds!

I had problems with Claritin, but Clarinex (the prescription version) works well for me.  Zyrtec and Allegra both caused side effects that I couldn't tolerate.  Benadryl has worked fine for me, but I don't take it now that I'm on Klonopin.  It's been several years since I've had Benadryl, but it did work with no major side effects.  This, of course, was during my "pre-Klonopin" days.

Of course, taking Vitamin C (an antioxidant) can help out with allergies as well.

Used to take claritin all the time during the summer to help with allergies.

 

Took one pill about a month ago while in the midst of my acute withdrawal phase and it triggered an agonizing episode of anxious psychosis.

 

Be forewarned, my friends.

 

Claritin is not as well tolerated as doctors and drug companies want you to think. I've known people without psych med histories who get extremely ill when they take it.

 

Antihistamines are generally pretty hard on anyone's body.
