Panic attacks after stopping unisom.

I stopped unisom 5 days ago after taking it fir several months. Did gradually cut down. Since tapering felt extreme anxiety, almost OCD type symptoms, panic attack and complete meltdown yesterday. Has anyone else experienced this after stopping unisom? I think have high histamine levels from having extreme hay fever this year so wondering if stopping it increased the effects of the histamine. Just seems co-incidence all started when started coming off unisom. Be interested if anyone else experienced this?

Yes just stopped Unisom yesterday after taking it for nearly 10 days & feel awful anxiety on another level. Was using it for insomnia from temazepam withdrawal. Never touching it again.

I have oral thrush right now and will probably have to go on unisom.
