Are we healing when tapering?

I just wondered if we are still healing whilst tapering, or do we have to wait until we cease completely for the healing to start?

I'll speak from my experience and say that the lower my dose got, the better I began to feel.

Is taking a zop every other night still classed as tapering? How long should I do that before I reduce the dose as well f I decide do it?

Yes, we heal as we taper. 100%. No doubt.

 

As well as from personal experience and it's also just pure logic. I'm even healing massively while holding.

Our bodies try to go into homoeostasis (equilibrium) all the time. When we take benzos or taper them that equilibrium gets altered and we get symptoms (reactions). Some of the reactions (waves) or positive ones (windows) are part of the healing process. That's why we have to taper slow, to avoid reactions, both processes are part of healing. But then comes our mental attitude towards the process, it can help or make it more difficult.
