Surgery

I'm going to the hospital to let them take a look at my hip. It's been going on for years, and I can't keep running with the pain.

 

If it comes to surgery, will something bad happen with the anesthesia? Like a bad reaction, setting in waves or other bad stuff? I'm already feeling at my lowest point ever.

I'm sorry to hear you're in pain, I know how much working out means to you.  Many members have had surgery, I had a couple when I was recovering and didn't have any issues.  Some members will speak with the anesthesiologist to ensure they're not given a benzo but if you do have a reaction it may not be from anesthesia.  Surgery and the anxiety that comes with it is very hard on your body, even when not going through benzo withdrawal so preparing yourself mentally and emotionally is important.
