Hi , thank God for here . Short story, I’ve been on stilnox 2 x 12.5 mg and multiple tablets of 2.5 mg Ativan . Ativan was stopped cold . I’m tapering on Valium but I feel every day , I’m getting nowhere . I feel like I’m crazy . Thank you for being sanctuary

I'm sorry to hear you're struggling, but can you tell us a little more about your situation?  How much Ativan were you on and what is your current dose of Valium?  When you say stopped cold, I'm assuming you didn't do a gradual crossover to allow the Valium time to build up before withdrawing the Ativan?  How long has it been since you made the switch?  Are you still taking the Stilnox?

 

We typically suggest reducing your dose by about 5-10% every couple of weeks or whatever your symptoms will allow in the hopes of staying functional.
