Used Ativan Once After 5 Weeks Off Klonopin

I quit Klonopin on April 26 through a medically assisted detox. I was recently readmitted to inpatient. While in inpatient I was very close to having a seizure and after 8 hours of shaking took 1 mg of Ativan.

 

This was 5 days ago. How much does this set back my progress? Any insight would be very helpful.

A one off dose doesn't typically cause problems, what is more problematic is worrying that one dose will cause an issue, you know how worry and stress affects us.

 

Has the shaking returned?

Did they send you home with adjunct medications to help you through your recovery?

Cymbalta and trazodone.

 

I've been taking trazodone for a bit it's al that allows me to sleep.

Would you mind telling us a little more about your experience being medically detoxed?  We have so many members who consider this at one point or another so it would be helpful to get your perspective.  It sounds like you're in pretty rough shape but that's to be expected with a rapid taper, are you glad you did it?
