[Ma...] Posted June 3, 2022 Share Posted June 3, 2022 I have been taking some kind of Benzodiazepine for about 20 years. Currently I take Triazolam, .125mg Previously I have taken Ambien and Xanax. [Ka...] Posted June 3, 2022 Share Posted June 3, 2022 Hello Mary My, Welcome to BenzoBuddies, we are glad you are here! Yes, getting off benzos is hard - I am sorry you are struggling. Have you tried using the Ashton Method of tapering slowly to minimize withdrawl symptoms? That is what we at BenzoBuddies suggest. Tapering at the rate of 5-10% every two weeks or so tends to make symptoms manageable and allows you to stay functional. Additionally, I found having a community like this helped me get through the rough patches and members answered questions I had.
