My unexpected journey

I am here looking for support and guidance while tapering off Xanax and Ambiem

My journey started 5 years ago with mild anxiety and insomnia

I currently have tapered to Xanax .125 mg 4x / day.

Ambien 7-10  mg/ night.

Looking for guidance during my taper and abstinence from Benzos

We're glad you're here, this is a rough process and its so important to have support from people who understand what you're feeling, no one gets this. 

What is your taper like, we suggest reducing by about 5-10% of your dose every couple of weeks or whatever your symptoms dictate, we need to stay functional while getting off of the drug. 

I hope you're only tapering the Xanax for now, we suggest tapering one medication at a time so you can know what is causing what so you can make adjustments if necessary.
