Xanax has a very short half life so [...] is right, your body has most likely been clearing the drug each week so hopefully you won't experience any symptoms if you stop for good which I hope you will. So many of us wish we would have done the same, we could have spared ourselves years of misery while going through the worst experience of our lives.
Something to be aware of though, even taking the drug sporadically can lead to dependence so you're smart to stop now before your brain begins to make changes to accommodate the drug.
