Has anybody switched from ativan to klonopin and it helped.  I am nervous to do this as my dr wants me to go from 1mg ativan to 1mg klonopin.  I thunk klonopin is way stronger.  Comments please as I am struggling.  I was off atuvan but stupid on drs advice reinstated.  Please can anybody help

Is your doctor wanting you to switch because clonazepam is longer-acting?  Are you having interdose withdrawl?

Thanks atuvan no longer working for me.  I have heard klonopin double strength but she wants to,put me in the same dose.  She assures me itís the same strength

Is there a reason your doctor wants to switch, are you dealing with interdose withdrawal?  Many members have directly tapered from Ativan so if your desire is to be benzo free, you can do this too.  How many times a day are you dosing?
