Cholesterol, iron
« on: May 04, 2022, 02:22:57 pm »
So I am 2.5 months out; got my bloodwork done and my doctor mentioned I have absurdly high cholesterol levels (equivalent to an obese man living on fast food he said) which is very abnormal for my age and size (27f, 110pound 5í7 - i donít eat much generally and im sort of active). My iron levels are also very very low (ferritin minimum is 19 and im at 6 )

Doc wants to start me on a statin. Iíve taken one before with no ill effects, but I wanted to ask if any of you have experiences?

And iron supplements?

Except for magnesium and opioids i seem to tolerate medications. On the daily i take b1, b5, b12, omega 3, vitamin e and c, vitamin D and probiotics, ginko, hydroxyzine 12.5 and ive taken ibuprofen here and there

Thank you ❤️
