Has Anyone CT'd .5mg Klonopin?
« on: May 04, 2022, 04:40:07 am »
I have been on Klonopin for 2 years now, every day, once a day. At the height of my prescription usage I was taking about 1.5mg, but for the most part stuck around 1mg. I have gradually reduced down to 0.5 with no side effects at all, not to say there won't be as I go down, I fully expect them, but has anyone reduced to about this amount and then jumped? Or is that too risky?

I tried jumping from 0.25mg and I didn't do well at all; I reinstated after two days and tapered further from there.  Unless there is a compelling reason to jump from 0.5mg, please consider tapering lower.  After I reinstated I tapered to 0.01mg and jumped from there with a much better result - success at finally getting off clonazepam after many years of use!

I took 8mg a day of Klonopin  for years.
Some days an additional 4, 8, 16mg Klonopin.
It took me 3 tries cold turkey to stop taking it completely.
That was about 4 or 5 years ago.
No problems since.
