Has anyone been put on Losartan and gotten anxiety and panic? I have been on this for a week now and anxiety has been uncontrolling. Gonna see my dr and get off meds.

I have been taking Losartan and Telmisartan over the years, and never connected them with anxiety. However, my anxiety is under control and being managed via exercise and deep slow breathing. Please see my other post.

I would suggest that you speak with your doctor before any stopping any meds for high blood pressure, as it could lead to severe and urgent health complications.

As for generally managing high blood pressure and anxiety, please look into deep slow breathing. Multiple research studies have shown this to be a very effective technique in reducing high blood pressure and anxiety.
