Kindling: Can it happen with any medication?

I am withdrawing from Abilify. On for 6 months then a couple weeks off and then a week on again. I just worry.

I don't think there's any studies that can confirm kindling with drugs. As far as I know it's a theoretical explaining as to why multiple WD's from alcohol causes worsening of symptoms.

But from what I understand it can also occur with Benzo WD, and antidepressaants. So I suppose there could be a chance of kindling with other medications. But as I said as far as I'm aware there is only anecdotal evidence of kindling in the Benzo and antidepressaants community, and no actual studies have been published.

If it was me personally I wouldn't be coming off and back on any psych medication as nobody really knows how they affect the brain/body. But I'm already kindled on AD's and benzos huh
