[Mo...]
This is my taper plan..... doctor approved it. Any feedback and/or encouragement is GREATLY appreciated. I'm scared.... Starting dose .5 (approx 10 years) Plan for next 2 weeks.... Cut by .03 every other day 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 After 2 weeks if all goes well I will start taking . 46875 everyday for 2 weeks. Is this is very slow microtaper? If curious about how I am actually just dry cutting tablets. I have the dissolvable tabs in as low as .125 so I can cut that into 4's creating something close to .03 (not 100% as some powder falls off in the cut)
[Mo...]
I am working on a taper for Klonapin. The plan is when I do a cut, I do it every other day for 2 weeks (or until stable). Is the every other day thing better than every day? This is what it would look like.... 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875 0.5 0.46875
[Li...]
The collective wisdom in this community is ‘Consistency is Key’ (i.e. it’s preferable to take the same dose every day to avoid peaks and troughs in blood serum concentration).
[Mo...]
I see. Is that understanding that Klonpain has a longer half life? Is my math correct?
[Li...]
I’m not certain I understand your questions. “Is that understanding that Klonopin has a longer half life?” If you are asking if we understand that clonazepam has a relatively long half-life, then yes, we do. “Is my math correct?” If you are asking if your proposed reduction in dose is within our general guideline, then yes, it is. A reduction from 0.5mg to 0.46875mg would be a 6.25% reduction.
