Tryptophan can help in high quantities, but you'd have to eat about 40 servings of turkey to get an amount that "might" have some effect.  I say might, because nothing short of another Rx drug works for 99.99% of the people with Benzo-induced insomnia.  5 to 12 grams of Tryptophan are recommended for any kind of sleep inducing effect.  The average glass of milk only has 106mg of Tryptophan so you'd have to drink about 50 glasses of milk. minimum, to get the amount you are looking for!

You'd be much better off finding Tryptophan in supplement form, and even then it won't touch Benzo-induced insomnia!
