Zopiderm taper

Hi all,

 

I have been able to get down to 2.5 mg of zopiderm (zoplicone), which is a quarter of one 10 mg pill. Very difficult to cut this pill smaller plus am feeling very ill in the morning. Could this be the Z drug? I have been on zopiderm for 2 years.

What are your symptoms? How long have you been tapering?

Been trying to taper for 6 months, been as low as 2.5mg, which is where I am now.

Symptoms extreme nausea in the morning, lethargy, and stomach muscle cramps, that last 30 seconds. I can stop them but it seems my body (stomach muscles) wants to cramp.

 

My issue is I have CFS/ME and if I don't sleep enough I risk serious relapse.

How long have you been on this taper dose and how long have you had these symptoms? Could be withdrawal or tummy bug

I cannot get past 2.5 mg, been on that for months. I just bought some scales so will try reducing by 10% per week.

You can't start a new topic there, you just jump in at the end of the thread and join the group. Sometimes it's also helpful to read through the thread and see others experiences with the same drug.
