weighing small doses

I have not switched over to adding filler yet, as I am doing ok just filing and weighing. My question is this:

I am currently on .12mg which equals .012g. As I weigh lower doses, could I just add a whole pill to the scale, which weighs .050g to the tapered dose which weighs .012g for a total of .062g. Then my next cut to .011g off the small pill. I would then weigh out a total of .061g and so on. If the scale jumps around on lower doses, wouldn't something like this solve the problem? Thanks everyone...
