THC never worked for me prior to Benzos, during Benzo WD and after Benzo WD....and I don't like how it makes me feel....panicky and more like DP/DR than high or euphoric!

I find CBD to be very calming and in bigger doses, sleep-inducing. I make my own Gummi Bear edibles (I grow my own  plants) so I'm able to calculate exactly how much CBD is in each dose. And here's what, after many years experimenting with CBD and THC and CBD/THC  I have discovered -- I need about a 100 mg dose to make me sleepy. About 30 mgs will produce calm in the pm if I want that while meditating or listening to music. I don't think I'm unusual -- ppl who report no relief from insomnia from a 15, 20 or 30 mg dose are quite right imo. It's too little.

Previous comments about effective doses of CBD being expensive are right on, I think. I recently read the results of a scientific study in which recipients were given 300 or 600 mgs of CBD and it did indeed produce somnolence. However, the researchers acknowledged that such a big dose, while effective (let's say 300 mgs) would be unaffordable for most people. I agree. That's why I grow my own, and make edibles from a tincture I make from flower bud. I don't like oil. When I run out of my own harvested plants, I buy flower bud from a dispensary in FL. It's cheaper than the local shop.

They also have high dose products that have 100mg or 200mg of CBD per softgel.  If you fall into one of the groups listed above, an 80 count 100mg softgel is $56. (saying that if 100mg is enough to make you sleepy)  If you needed one per [...] would last you 80 nights for .70 cents per [...]...that's affordable!

Hmmm . . . I checked these out and here's what the capsule with the highest CBD amount contains:

Each capsule contains 30mg of CBD, 10mg of CBG, and 10mg of CBN.

That's only 50 mgs. I have yet to find any on the site that contains the 100 mgs I need. Maybe I'm just missing it. And the above bottle costs $200. (I would have to take 2 each [...]). Everything on the site is too low-dose for me.

Not true. Those numbers refer to the quantity i.e. how many softgels are in each bottle. Yes, they have bottles that contain 100 capsules or 200 capsules. Of 50 mg product.

I'm not fond of being a backyard gardener (lost half my "crop" of 5 plants last year due to a freeze) but I think I'll stick to growing my own.

However, the products might well suit other people's needs. It's always good to have information.
