Beta Blockers

Hello.

 

I’m on 1.25 mg bisoprolol for an increased heart rate each morning while on .5 mg 3X day SUBLINGUAL ATIVAN.

 

I also feel like I’m in Ativan tolerance/withdrawal.

 

I recently tapered off bisoprolol in 2 weeks taking it every other day and then stopping - and that’s when worse symptoms began. 9 days later I restarted 1.25 mg bisoprolol (trials of 2.5 mg worsened the symptoms).

 

Now when I take take the bisoprolol I’m experiencing worse symptoms (prickling, tickling, burning, coldness and muscle squeezing of the limbs, nausea and loose bowels). It is worse when doubling bisoprolol to 2.5 mg.

 

Has anyone had issues with bisoprolol especially while on Ativan or another benzo.

Does anyone recommend tapering bisoprolol before tapering Ativan?
