Overly Emotional?

Along with a myriad of other symptoms, one of the less terrible ones I have noticed is that I am over emotional and cry over anything and everything. I’ve always been a big, but not this badly.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

I was the exact opposite, I couldn't cry and the one time I was able to I felt so much relief I kept trying to recreate it but couldn't.  I've read many members who say they cry a lot too, it's all part of this terrible process.

 

Since I recovered I can puddle up over anything and I'm so grateful to have my full range of emotions back, you'll have it too, it just takes time.

Like Pam, I could not cry either, but my emotions were more blunted by ADs that benzos IMO. I recall going to a funeral many years ago (can't recall the AD I was on during this time) and was unable to mourn or cry at the service.

Yes, before I got anhedonia I would cry over anything. Sometimes nothing. I am told this gets better slowly over time.
