Substitution did not work. Can I just go back to clonopin. Can I taper off4MG

Help!!!!

A hopital is insisting that going off benzo is save in faciity.  I don't believe them.

Because of my high anxiety husband want me to go to hospital.

I get really constipated at high doses of cloonopin.  Help and I'm sorry!!

The hospital can get you off the drug safely, they'll do this by providing other medications to help keep you comfortable and they'll monitor you for seizures.  They'll send you home when you're off the Klonopin and you'll be in a lot of pain but you'll be free of the drug.  Once you're benzo free, you can still come here to get support for your symptoms or if you decide you can't stand the pain anymore you may decide to reinstate and do a slow taper and we'll help you with that too.

Getting off the drug is only the first step in this process, recovering from the changes it made to you is what takes the most time and is our biggest challenge.  We'll be here for you whatever you decide to do.
