SCUBA Diving Question

Is anyone a diver?  Has anyone gone diving during a taper or afterwards?  Did it set anything off? Did you dive Nitrox or Air? Did you modify your diving in anyway (time, depth, safety stop protocol, surface interval, #dives per day)? Any suggestions based on your experience?

I am an experienced advanced diver (500+ dives).  Planning a dive trip for February will be off just over a year.  Plan to dive Nitrox as this is what I always dive with but based on feedback may switch to air. Shore diving only. No boat diving this trip so I won’t have to worry about sea sickness. 

I always do a checkout dive and have a very experienced buddy (Rescue Diver) who is my husband. We will have a pre determined communication plan before all dives.  I will also be with my diving group that includes Instructors and Rescue Divers. Of course no one has any Benzo knowledge who can provide any guidance. I thought I would ask here. I’m also planning on checking with DAN but I seriously doubt they have info.

I imagine diving will end up being a very personal experience as all our withdrawal challenges are so unique and individual.
