I am tapering off clonazepam , was only on .5 mgs for 6 days then .75mgs for 6 days for insomnia for a total of 12 days before I started tapering off . After 2 weeks I am down to .375mgs a day. One of my the withdrawal side effects I’m getting is air hunger and it is horrible, the other side effects Im getting aren’t nearly as challenging, would appreciate any tips on how to manage the air hunger, or if anyone else is or has experienced it

Hello Mahathaw, welcome to BenzoBuddies,

Wow, I've seen so many short time users having difficulty lately, I'm sorry to hear about your air hunger, I used to say I had an elephant sitting on my chest.  I'm glad to know your other symptoms aren't as bad but it amazes me that 12 days of use got you here, although I have seen it happen in 10.

You'll find many members dealing with what you describe so I'll give you a link to the board where you'll get the most replies to your questions.  We're glad you found us and I hope your short time on the drug will mean a faster recovery.
