Disulfiram: Safety of adjunct use with diazepam?

I am considering the possibility of Disulfiram treatment for chronic Lyme disease, but I am concerned about the seriousness of the potential interactions.  From what I've gleaned thus far, Disulfiram oral has the potential to increase levels of diazepam by slowing drug metabolism, and competitively binds and inhibits the peripheral benzodiazepine receptor. How significant these effects are though, I cannot seem to reach a decisive answer. Does anyone here have some insight? Personal experiences? And even if you do not have experience, but have an evidence based opinion, I would be glad to hear it. Thanks much. - Anon
