itchy, burny skin, no rash

I have had this before, now on my arm and hand, at night in my bed bc of the heat  it activates  is this histamine related? I was suggested low histamine diet, I also have IBS  what a nightmare .

If I don't have a rash and feel the itchiness inside can I still use something like aloe vera?
