MSG can lead to excessive glutamate in the brain.

MSG is an excitotoxin, it caused neurological problems in baby mice when they injected them. People in benzo withdrawal need to be very careful. I just learned this the hard way last night. There are a laundry list of symptoms that the MSG can cause, some of them being brain fog, anxiety, nausea, gastrointestinal issues and more. It can also take up to 48 hours to feel them. The effects can last from two to three days. The FDA doesn't require it to be listed on Packaging. Could this be affecting some of us in our healing?

I've been avoiding MSG for many many years.  It is now listed as "natural flavor" on packaging to mislead consumers.  Read labels.  I rarely eat out because I'm sure it's used liberally in restaurant food.
