Weaning off currently

I'm on my 3rd day getting off benzos. This is not my first time getting off my meds. I've developed pain and allodynia in hands and feet.

I hope to find people who are off benzos and i hope find people in a similar situation

and to read their threads to learn whats helpful and to ask members for help.

Here are some great forums to get you started on obtaining the information you need, and finding support.  Multiple tapers do catch up to you. Eventually, you hit a taper that is much more difficult than those previous. You maybe there, you may not.

First, can you give us your benzo (s) duration, and dosage. That will help us  to serve you better.

I'm glad I read your post since I'm an ambien survivor as well!

So how are you doing right now and are you taking anything?

I am only an expert of my own experience, but I will say I've had so many years of awful pain that I am finally facing is mostly related to ambien and the only way I know that is now that I'm tapering that pain has reduced greatly. It was very horrific very very often.

I've mainly followed one thread on this site since I started my taper and have met a few others who got off ambien and learned about their w/d symptoms after they stopped completely and their experiences before. I am getting very close to stopping completely and not sure what lays ahead ... sleep comes sometimes easier than others.

So, welcome to BB! It's great you created a signature, do I understand correctly that you've gone back on ambien and then cold turkeyed off it a few times this year including recently?
