6 months 2 weeks

Everything is bearable, but definitely not comfortable. I’m already going through hell, so I came to the decision to get off my antidepressant. It doesn’t seem to be helping me and I just feel like it’s making me feel less like myself. Plus with another medicine I can’t really gauge which way is up and which way is down or what is causing what anymore. Wish me luck.

Try to slow taper off AD, cuz it can cause intense withdrawal symptoms! Good luck!

Bearable is great! at 6.5 months, I don't think I was doing as well as you. I am just getting to barely bearable now at 7.5 months. We will both get there!

 

I agree with tapering of the AD slowly - you don't want to traumatize your brain further.

Agree with ME2.....I tapered from my benzo and an AD...I had a lag of about 4 months on the AD...I recall taking a step down on the AD and I would have a few great days...those meds are not healthy either...

 

Best of luck, it will get better. I cant tell you when but keep at it and you will feel better. Never give up HOPE!
