[Ki...]
Everything is bearable, but definitely not comfortable. I’m already going through hell, so I came to the decision to get off my antidepressant. It doesn’t seem to be helping me and I just feel like it’s making me feel less like myself. Plus with another medicine I can’t really gauge which way is up and which way is down or what is causing what anymore. Wish me luck.
[...]
Try to slow taper off AD, cuz it can cause intense withdrawal symptoms! Good luck!
Guest [fl...]
Bearable is great! at 6.5 months, I don't think I was doing as well as you. I am just getting to barely bearable now at 7.5 months. We will both get there! I agree with tapering of the AD slowly - you don't want to traumatize your brain further.
[J ...]
Agree with ME2.....I tapered from my benzo and an AD...I had a lag of about 4 months on the AD...I recall taking a step down on the AD and I would have a few great days...those meds are not healthy either... Best of luck, it will get better. I cant tell you when but keep at it and you will feel better. Never give up HOPE! Ron 26 months benzo free...
