loperamide (imodium) issues anyone?

Just trying to figure out if this may have caused my recent bad wave. I've had med issues in the past in recovery.

So far as I can see its an opioid receptor agonist. not sure how that could affect me when we all usually look for gaba receptor influences.

any help appreciated (with citations if possible).
